Competitive Dance Company
Competition Dance Company
Audition Information
We begin each new competitive dance season with a four-week long Summer Dance Intensive. Dancers will attend classes in numerous styles of dance through the last 2 weeks of June & first 2 weeks of July. Throughout these four weeks, our instructors will be observing each student and will determine the appropriate competition group dance(s) for that individual student based on their ability, level and age.
Once groups are composed, our company dancers will start to learn their new competitive routines during the months of August and September. They will then continue to work on these dances during their scheduled rehearsals for the remainder of the dance season.
Footnotes Dance Center’s Competition Dance Company is a High Energy Performing Group where Dancers are Trained to be Leaders in the Dance World, in the Classroom, and in the Community.
Students in our program participate in extensive training in all areas of dance. Our goal is to provide our students with the highest quality dance education from the area’s best instructors and choreographers, and to prepare them for the life they lead ahead!
We not only compete, but we perform locally, volunteer, and support the performing arts community.
Our Competition Dance Company consists of dancers who have a strong passion for performing and would like to expand their technical training and take their dancing to the next level.
Footnotes CDC Members have unique opportunities throughout the year to learn, grow, and further their training and dance careers.
