CORE PROGRAMS (ages 7 & up)

We offer instruction to children as young as 12 months old all the way through adult. Our goal is to provide children from our community and surrounding areas quality dance instruction. From recreational dance to a more intensive study, correct and proper technique is always stressed. We believe in teaching through a positive environment along with positive reinforcement.

 

 

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM: Classes offered for the student who wants to dance as a pastime or the like of doing something different. These classes are for using dance as an outlet for enjoyment, entertainment, exercise, and/or relaxation. The same excellent staff that trains our competition dancers with the same quality of instruction also teaches these recreational classes.

 

COMPETITION DANCE COMPANY: Competitive dance opportunities are available by audition or invitation only. Company dancers have a larger commitment to the studio than our recreational students and are held at a more serious level when it comes to their dance education. Footnotes Competition Dance Company classes are considered advanced level classes. Dancers will have more requirements when it comes to taking ballet, technique and body placement classes. Emphasis is placed on improving body awareness, strong technique, stage presence, and cultivating a strong performance quality. Self-discipline, teamwork, leadership, commitment and dedication are stressed along with being a positive role model to our younger students. Dancers must be prepared to work hard, show dedication and commitment to their competition team, classes, studio and strive to the best of their ability.
